Planetary Quick Container

When you hold the middle section on this container and turn the bottom section, it opens up quickly due to the planetary gears on the bottom.

How it works The bottom outside is the ring gear, the outer top part is the carrier, and the inner part is the sun gear. Rotating the bottom segment while holding the top segment results in the planetary gears rotating inner shell at a 3:1 ratio.

Print instructions It’s designed for a .4mm nozzle, .2mm layer heights, no supports at 100% but there is some bridging. There is a 6mm hex hole in the sun gear to free up the gears if necessary.

Remove the brims There are four built in brims attached to the sun gear that will need to be removed.
