Mini Collapsible Basket
This is a scaled down version of the regular Collapsible Basket but before I scaled it down, I increased the clearances to make it easier to print. If you don’t have the print volume or if you just want to print it smaller, this version will be much easier. Its only 101mm at it longest point, and is so cute…
The standard sized version can be found here: https://thangs.com/3dprintingworld/Collapsible-Basket--23600
If you’re interested in the filament I used here are a couple affiliate links for the filament I used to make the baskets shown in the pictures. Pink basket: https://amzn.to/2r4Q10h (everybody loves this filament!) Small Wood Basket: https://amzn.to/2Bz8DM1 (a bit expensive but I use a standard .4 nozzle and have gone thru a few spools and have never had a clog)

If you have a choice, definitely go to under-extrude rather than over-extrude on this one. The bottoms of each ring can fuse quite easily with print settings that lean towards laying more rather than less material, making it so that getting the basket to open up takes no less force than it does to pop the ring out entirely
I am having a lot of trouble printing this. I can see that the lines draw just as I sliced them in Cura, but then it seems to go over it one more time. It is as if the line thickness is too much or there are too many walls. Do you know what line and wall settings would work? .4mm nozzle on a Voxelab Aquila. I have .15 layer height, line width and all the walls at .4. Wall thickness .8. On the screen it shows space between each "ring", but when it prints, it goes over it one too many times so that it covers any spaces. Thank you
is it just the first layer? Have your calibrated your extruder? I used .43mm line widths.
does this work on a resin printer
Sorry I'm no help. I don't do resin and I haven't seen anyone try.
