Is it back to school time already!?!?! Maybe you're in school or have kids, this will fit your basic storage needs! Every Part of this pencil has a purpose. There are 3 main storage parts to this pencil! The eraser, the pencil body, and the tip! I love this thing and I will be making more variations of it! Parts Required Only PLA/Filament! I used polyterra for the Eraser and Body! This is Polymakers brand! For the tip I used a matte black and beige from bambulab! The Silver is from Inland Filament!

UPADTED 8/24/24/ Layer Height has to be .2 or smaller. If you are running into issues with quality with the threads. ALSO DO NOT PRINT AT MAX SPEED OR YOU WILL GET BAD RESULTS. THE MODEL IS PRINTABLE!!! ADD BRIMS TO THE PENCIL BODY
To get best results- layer height - .16 Walls - 3 wall generator type-classic infill do 45% or higher will help with threads. Brim on pencil body supports manual on metal eraser band and the pencil tip. do not have it do supports on threads manually add them. Speed- do not go as fast as you can. I would recommend something slower along 150mm/s
There are .3mf files for the tip and the pencil body! Everything was designed to print with no adjustments to positioning!
The Eraser is print ready and does not require any additional supports! The Body will need inner and outer brims to secure it the bed plate! no supports required. I would consider slowing down your print speed for the body.
The Metal band prints better if you paint supports in the middle where there is a bridge. I would use tree supports and pull it off the bed while the bed is hot! Additionally consider using a brim for better support
The Tip also requires supports. Only Paint the supports on the underside of the cone just past the threads! This will form a better connection to the body. However, I did get away without using supports on this!
