Sabine Wren helmet - updated 3D print model - Star Wars Rebels

Helmet is sliced to parts as described on infographic + complete uncut helmet also included

Updated version of Sabine Wren helmet from Star Wars Rebels series. Helmet now includes mandalorian rangefinder and is more efficiently divided, so parts take less space on printing platform and also require minimal or no use of printing supports, which saves printing time and your filament.

"Sabine Wren (codename Spectre 5) was a young female human Mandalorian and the weapons expert of the Ghost crew. Sabine was born on the planet Mandalore in the waning years of the Galactic Republic, into Clan Wren of House Vizsla." SCALE

Default size is set to the dimensions as mentioned on infographic picture (x: 244mm (width without rangefinder and ear parts), y: 310mm, z: 308mm (391 mm with rangefinder) with thickness of helmet around 5 mm. However, we recommend to check your size of the head and adjust the scale according to it. We recommend to downscale all parts to around 80% (x: 195 mm, y: 248 mm, z: 246 mm (312 mm with rangefinder) with thickness of helmet around 4 mm. It should be sufficient to for the average head size and there is also some tolerance to attach cushions from the inner side for comfortable wearing.

PRINTER SETTINGS

As the helmet is quite big and is meant to be post-processed , we recommend a height of layer from 0.2 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. Optional part for printing is the inner rim of visor (rim_R/L.stl parts) on which you can easier attach transparent foil (visor). This part however, due to its shape, needs to be printed on supports. For reliable printing, we also recommend to set a brim to helmet shell parts, for their height and low thickness. It will ensure that the part won't come off the printing platform during the printing process.
