I'm so glad that you stumbled upon this small devotion of poems. It's nothing fancy, profound, or philosophical – that wasn't my aim in writing this. My goal, however, was that these simple poems, prayers, scriptures, and 'points to ponder' allow you to draw nearer to the Lord. May you be moved in reflecting on your own "season" with the Lord, and think through past seasons that you have grown through. Not every season seems beautiful in the moment – the rain of spring can be downcast, the heat of summer can be scorching, there's the barren autumn, and the frigid winter can leave us empty. But, when reflecting with the Lord, we are often able to see the beauty from ashes, and the joy in every season.
