A filament clip. I dare you to try it. This works fantastic! Holds your filament tight on the spool after use and within the spool walls. It won't get knocked off like some others as the spool rolls around. This is a print in place, 2 piece, hinged filament fastener that was made to be printed in TPU 95A. It may work with other types of plastic but the flexibility and stickiness of TPU was key to it grabbing the filament IMHO. My 3mf is a plate of 11 pieces sliced on a Bambu P1P using Inland Clear TPU@0.2mm LH and a 0.6mm nozzle with the textured pei plate. Like some other clips, you simply unspool about 3 ft of filament and wrap and press the filament into one of the slots. Then wrap the rest of the filament back around the hub and insert the final end into the second slot. It should snap into place. Then flip and press the lid in for another snap-tight fit. Sooooo satisfying! Please leave a like if this helps you out and a comment. Let me know if you find it works with PLA or other plastics.

Version 2= Maximum grip and the top piece now surrounds the bottom thereby not allowing its grip on the filament to loosen even with slippery petg. If the first version simply isn't tight enough for you then this is the end-all- be-all.
