This is Vel'Koz from League of Legends with articulated tentacles.
The body is from an upload of the game files by @krisz0422: https://thangs.com/designer/krisz0422/3d-model/Velkoz%20League%20of%20Legends-18127 The tentacles are from an articulated octopus by @Ellindsey: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:584405
You'll need to print:
- Body
- Left Shoulder
- Right Shoulder
- Rear Tentacle
- Rear Tip
- Side Tentacle (x2)
- Side Tip (x2)
With my settings, it was about 160g of filament and a 10h total print time.
Once printed, snap the joints into place. It can some force. I recommend printing in PETG. The sockets of the PLA print I tried cracked when assembling (although they still worked afterward).
All parts other than the body can be printed without supports or brim.
They body can be tricky to print because of how spiky it is. You can print in the default orientation (eye facing up), which will give the best surface finish on the face, but will have a lot of free-standing parts that might fail early on. I had more success with traditional support than tree supports like this. It's easier to successfully print eye down, but any support scarring will be visible on the face. A decent middle ground is to orient it like a tripod resting on the chin and shoulders and use tree supports.
You can scale the model down to ~70%, but anything smaller, and you'll likely have tolerance issues on the joints.
For ideal colors, you'll want light brown for the body and shoulders, purple/blue for the tentacles, and pink for the tips. If you have a multi-material printer, you can color the 4 eyes pink and the tentacle part of the shoulder pieces purple/blue.
