Geneva sculpture v1.0.2
to create this you will need the following:
- 5x Plastic Sleeve Housing for 2mm Shaft (these are not necessary, if you do not want them, simply glue the pins in place or someone might remix this to have tighter tolerances and not need the sleeves)
- 2x D2 40mm stainless steel dowel pin
- 2x D2 25mm stainless steel dowel pin
- 1x N20 Single Shaft Worm Gear Motor
- 1x Adafruit Downstream USB-C Breakout board
- ~60mm of Wires to connect the USB-C to the motor
To assemble, follow the video, however you do not need to insert the pegs into the cams, the pegs are now implemented into the cams to reduce assembly
To install the motor you will need to de-solder the PCB from the motor's pins. Now you can connect, using wires, the positive pin on the motor to the pin labelled "VBUS" on the USB-C breakout board and the negative pin on the motor to the pin labelled "GND" on the USB-C breakout board.
this model can be hung using regular screws, nails, or hooks by the provided mounting points on the back, i have found that hooks work best, closely followed by 2mm diameter bullet head nails, mounted at a 30 degree angle upwards off the wall, sticking out between 2 and 6mm
if you would like to support what i do, head to the model on makerworld and boost me there!
