The version with the drainage require 6 magnets to securely fasten the tray with the pot together. 3 magnets for the tray part and 3 magnets for the top part. Scaling I wouldn't recommend scaling the plant pots with the magnets as it will change the size of the magnets holes. The plant pot without drainage can be scaled in your desired size.
