I created this universal camera mount to sit on the side of my X1 Sidewinder base using the existing hex screw. It works great with any of these style of HD webcams and Octoprint: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07HGXGKQD/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=skartzamzn01-20&linkId=38e28b287de29eaf54a0c02f7b80da57&language=en_CA https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07HGXGKQD/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=skartzamzn01-20&linkId=38e28b287de29eaf54a0c02f7b80da57&language=en_CA https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07HGXGKQD/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=skartzamzn01-20&linkId=38e28b287de29eaf54a0c02f7b80da57&language=en_CA https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07HGXGKQD/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=skartzamzn01-20&linkId=38e28b287de29eaf54a0c02f7b80da57&language=en_CA https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07HGXGKQD/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=skartzamzn01-20&linkId=38e28b287de29eaf54a0c02f7b80da57&language=en_CA
I recommend printing it with PETG. I use the Overture brand. This stuff is excellent https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07HGXGKQD/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=skartzamzn01-20&linkId=38e28b287de29eaf54a0c02f7b80da57&language=en_CA and I've been using it almost exclusively now for several months with no issues. The model has the cord track on the left side, but if you want it running on the right simply mirror the model in your slicer.
I also created other versions. One for front mounting on the X1 Sidewinder ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4257585/ ). And one for the CR-10 or any other printer that uses 2020 or 2040 extrusions for the frame ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4064715 )
Features: Sturdy design Built-in Cable Management Track
