This is my design for a storage/organizer for the Castles of Mad King Ludwig boardgame. I wanted to eliminate as many plastic baggies as I could as they made setup and teardown an absolute pain but I also wanted to be able to play directly out of the storage to avoid knocking over tiles when playing on the cardboard playmat. They system consists of 3 main modules with two money containers, the outer two modules are printed in two sections and will need to be glued together. All modules can fit nicely inside the original box and set up in very little time. Each module uses the original cardboard playmat as a lid that can slide into the groove going around the top edge of each module. I designed this to mount the scoreboard vertically and used magnetized score trackers. This required gluing magnets behind each point location on the scoreboard which was very time consuming so ignore that feature if you don't want to do all that work. The fit for the sectioned modules and the dovetail joints may be tight so it might require some sanding/filing to get it working just right. I included a space for the moat pieces that came with the expansion set but if you just have the base game you just wont use that little shelf on the back of the left module.
