At full size I put in two 32 mm x 3mm magnets in it. They need strong magnets to hold them between the shelving. The magnets are embedded and you will need to add a pause to the Gcode to insert the magnets at the layer just before the hole is closed. These do not utilize glue and the magnets are inside the print.
I put the magnets on either side of my hand to make sure i put them in the correct way, you could also stick them together and mark them with a sharpie. Whatever works best for you.
Printing recommendations:
.10 to .20 layer height - Adaptive Layer Height is best
5% infill is enough, I would not go over 10%
3 walls for strength
Supports are needed for both parts.
Pause gcode at the layer before the hole is sealed by the printer and add the magent(s) - Verify this is correct to your layer height that you choose.
