Designed for simple vase mode printing (though you can certainly go "solid").

Fits snug on a 235x235 build plate

**Design objectives**:
- Vase mode print to be quick and light weight while still being an enclosed shell by having walls converge at the top to force the final pass to meet itself and fuse closed. 
- include a thin (0.1mm) edge gap opening feature to maintain a single body design while resulting in a suitable hole to capture a hanging element (string, wire, hook, etc.).

**Important note on scaling**: This model has a thin edge on the build plate (1.6mm). It works nicely for 0.4-0.8mm nozzle. But if it's scaled down, you could run into issues or weird slicing outcomes. Beware of dragons. Scaling up should be no problem, but the hole gap will grow and be harder to retain a thin string/wire.

Hollow vase mode snow flake

This is a mount to suspend a MuteMe mute button up underneath and sticking out from a shelf. Handy if you have a lower keyboard shelf or an elevated computer/monitor stand.

The sides are as high as the button, so print in a clear/translucent material to let the light come through.
There are 2 mounting screw holes, but you can probably also use a double sided adhesive strip or 2.

Originally designed for resin finishing materials, this bench caddy has cavities to hold 2 pump bottles, mixing cups, mixing sticks, and 2 drip wells. But it could certainly be used for any other bottles that fit it.
The diameters of the wells are as follows:
- 2 @ 70mm (for the main pump bottles)
- 1 @ 55mm (for cups)
- 1 @ 30mm (for mixing sticks)
Overall dimensions are 73mm high, 232mm wide, 135mm deep.

Included in the models is the drip tray. 
**Printing**
Caddy - Shouldn't require anything special. Whatever works best for your printer.
Drip tray - ***IMPORTANT***: The tray model is completely solid. It's intended to print in vase mode/spiralize to make it quick and with thin walls. There's a taper so you can print several and stack them. I suppose you could slice it with a couple walls, no infill and no top layers to make it without vase mode if you needed to.

This a tray for 30x2mm discs. I use this for storing and displaying filament sample chips. There's a hanger hole and the slots are at 45 degrees so it can lay flat on surface or be hung up and the chips won't fall out.

After receiving a new filament, the first thing I do is print a "test chip". It's a quick, ~10 minute print useful for getting a sense of how it prints and how it looks after printing yielding a nice little sample for reference. Of course, I needed a place to store the samples.

Along with the tray model is the chip that fits it.

**Slicing Recommendation**
Sliced as-is, this is a long print because of all the little slots (20+hrs). However, it's been designed to be "all walls". So you should be able to print face (i.e. slot openings) down with 0 top layers and 0% infill to shave off a few hours. I've found it's plenty rigid for the purpose it serves printed that way.

An 8 tooth involute gear shaped tool holder/caddy for printing in vase/spiralize mode.

This might look like just a really thick solid spur gear, but on closer examination of the top you'll see it has lots of thin slots that result in a continuous outer wall that snakes in and out of the model. When printed in vase mode, the outside of the walls adjacent to each other along the slots fuse together (see close up picture) and reveal 13 compartments. 5 larger ones in the hub and 8 smaller tooth compartments.

Dimensions:
- diameter: 150mm
- height: 100mm
- base: 0.6mm thick before the slots start

Compartments
- center: 1x 38mm round
- outer hub: 4x roughly 30mm x 60mm
- teeth: 8x about 20mm around (perfect for plier handles and long thin tools)

Print File Options:
- the regular model is suitable for printing with a 0.4 line width
- the extra included STL "gear-tool-holder-vase-0.8gap.stl" has wider gaps. This should work with a 0.8 line width (disclaimer: I haven't test printed this, only sliced it after discovering a large line width didn't slice well with the original model).

Printing:
- Use vase/spiralize mode with typical settings.
- **IMPORTANT**: Make sure you have enough bottom layers (3 @ 0.2mm layer height) to make up the base and preview your slicing to check that the wall starts on top of the last base layer. *More* base layers won't hurt.

- 0.2mm layers, 0.4mm nozzle
- 3DFuel [Autumn Orange](https://www.3dfuel.com/products/standard-pla-filament-autumn-orange-1-75mm) @ 220C, 60C bed
- ~80g each
- ~9.5 hours
