Magnetivy - English Ivy Fridge Magnet with Articulating Stems - Print in Place Hinges
Don't have a 3D Printer? My models print great with These Printers (affiliate)
The English Ivy Fridge Magnet Ivy is a climbing plant, and now it can climb up your fridge! My Fridge is always a mess with a bunch of different ugly magnets, I wanted something that looked great, but could also organize all the stuff on my fridge. This Ivy was a great solution.
You can take the leaves off the stem to use as a single magnet, or slide things underneath the stem to hold items as well!
Prints-in-Place The stems of the ivy print in place! Thanks to some specially designed hinges. Each stem section has multiple joints allowing you to wind it back and forth on your fridge. All you have to do is add magnets.
Customizability The stems all snap together, so you can easily make your Ivy as long as you want. There are also Y branches so you can branch off your vine in multiple directions, just like the real thing!
Components Needed 5 mm x 3 mm magnets You will need 18 magnets per stem section (6 on the stem, 6 on each leaf's stem, and 6 on each leaf)
Filaments I Used
Dark Leaf Green: ERYONE Matte Olive Green PLA Light Leaf Green: Polymaker Jungle Green PLA Stem Brown: OVV3D Oak Wood PLA Leaf White: Creality Hyper PLA White The white is semi-translucent, which is important for getting more realistic looking leaves
