This is another optical illusion created by shifting the attention with alternating white and black colors between other shades. This file has a square pattern with 90 degree arc corners and a matching offset diamond pattern. They are intended to be printed on a mesh fabric to keep everything aligned and connected.
Print at 35mm/s on the first layer to ensure proper first layer adhesion. I like to print slowly on the mesh as well, not to exceed 50mm/s.
This is printed at .24 layer height to accommodate most mesh fabrics. This can be changed if you're using a thinner/thicker fabric. Add a pause command at layer 2 to add your mesh. Tension with magnets/tape and resume the print. There are two thicknesses, .72mm for general printing, and 1.2mm thick if you'd like to try with glow in the dark / UV reactive filament - The pause is added at layer 4 instead of layer 2.
I prefer using Illusion mesh found at www.dfwfabricmart.com or in my fabric sample packs at www.kaizen3dprints.com
I print this on a textured PEI plate, as the PFLAT sheets can alter the effect of the optical illusion, but check out the different effects it can offer!
The 3MF contains a pattern that is premade - but I challenge you to create your own!
Beware, this can cause dizziness!
