Sconce for use with LED Pendant Light Cords. (Amazon search "Hanging Lantern Pendant Light Lamp Cord Cable E26 Socket").
This was for replacing my hanging lights with a more stylish and better light dispersing alternative. I was using hanging lights because I didn't have any floor or table room for a lamp, so I found a sconce to be a good option. I was looking for something cheap, and I couldn't find the equivalent anywhere for the low price of a normal lamp, so I made this sconce.
DIRECTIONS: -Printing-
- Don't print the "all parts" file, it's just a depiction of assembly
- Print 16 shroom caps
- Use supports for all parts except caps.
- A brim/tabs might be required for the corners.
- .2 layer
-Assembly- First, use small nails to nail the back top/bottom panels to the wall. Make sure that the top and bottom are hooked before nailing them to the wall. Place the pendant light in the holder.
Assemble the front and side panels. Use wax paper (or any light dispersion material) to cover the backside of the front and side panels (with the pegs), and cut it down to size. Punch holes to match the pegs and use the Shroom Caps (x16) to pin the material down.
Finally, mount the front and side panel assembly to the back panels nailed to the wall.
