  You've probably seen those tiny, wooden easels at the craft store or online - the ones artists, collectors & makers frequently use to display their favorite works or possessions. If you've ever used one yourself, you already know that they leave room for improvement. I decided to go ahead and make those improvements myself. I didn't like that the back leg could slip out at any time, so I added a stopper bar at the top to prevent this from happening. I also don't care for the feet not making full contact with the surface it's sitting on so I beveled them to ensure 3 solid points of contact - to further avoid slipping and/or tipping. Finally, I added a small channel in the crossbar made to keep items from slipping right off the edge. I think it is a real improvement upon the original design. Let me know what you think!
