Model Snap close connector that's great for holding small items or fidgeting with.
Do not use one of these to hold any sort of load or in a situation that could injure you or someone else.
Print Settings Nothing fancy here. Just regular 0.2 mm layer height and minimum 15% infill.
Hardware Required
- 3 x M3 x 14 mm screws
- 3 x M3 washers
- 50 mm paperclip
Other Info I've added 'Type 2' sides that are thinner at the rear and allow the connectors to connect to each other. Unlike the original model, the Type 2 model does require supports though - take your pick between the two.

I wanted to confirm if Connector Side 1, center hole was the correct size. It seems larger than the left and right screw holes. Left and right holes are able to hold the M3 screw but the center hole seems a bit larger.
Good pick-up. I've updated the files. Thanks!
I used the wire from a binder clip, bent the wires 90 degrees, and it worked great! Thanks for the file!
Sorry, I couldn't find it for a while because I moved. It's 1.25 inches long, could squeeze almost 0.5 inches if maxed out. I had to snip the ends a little shorter with wire cutters. It is really addictive to play with.
What size binder clip? Thanks.
Brilliant idea!
