These are the 3D printed parts that make up the automated water sampling carousel that fits to the [Modular Deck System](https://thangs.com/designer/electrosync/3d-model/Modular%20Deck%20System%20for%203D%20Printed%20RC%20Catamaran%20Utility%20Boat-44113?manualModelView=true) of my [RC Catamaran Utility Boat](https://thangs.com/mythangs/file/44098). It holds four 200 mm sample bottles and one of the spots on the carousel can be for a purge bottle (bottomless) that runs the pump back to the water body that you are sampling. Parts 2-6 are the core parts for the carousel. The other parts are for mounting the liquid level sensor and electronics cases - this will depend on your setup. **Print Settings**
- 0.2 mm layer height should work for everything except for the 90 tooth pulley that you may like to print at 0.12 mm or so. No supports are required.

**Hardware Required**
- 3 mm hardware for mounting the motor, pulley wheel and turntable bottom. 
- 6 mm bolt, nut and washer to mount the turntable top to the bottom of the motor electronics case lid
- 200 mm GT2 belt
- NEMA 17 stepper motor (pancake is better if you have it)
- 20 tooth GT2 pinion (stock on many 3D printers)
- 1 x 608 bearing for pulley wheel
- 3 mm heatset inserts for cases
- The quick release pins use R clips

Automated Water Sampling Carousel

**Model**
This is a tensile bench test rig made from mostly steel construction for testing tensile strength of whatever you can fit in it. I've tested it up to 1000 kg (the capacity of my scales) to test the breaking strength of metal 3D prints. When things break at these tensions, they can shoot off like bullets, so if you do have a go at building one of these, make sure to take appropriate safety measures.

**Print Settings**
- A few bits and pieces printed in PLA+ and TPU - mainly for appearances.

**Hardware Required**
- The majority of steel is 50 mm x 50 mm x 2 mm
- For the pivot arm, I used some salvaged steel: 50 mm x 60 mm x 5 mm (this arm takes most of the force). 
- A barrel jack is used to apply force to the test rig.

**Model**
This model consists of a three piece torpedo that houses a 16 g CO2 cartridge and ballast holder. The launcher is built with a few bits of hardware and is used to puncture the CO2 canister and launch the torpedo underwater. 
_The torpedo won't harm anyone, but be cautious around the launcher (sharp object) and CO2 gas (high pressure and cold)._

**Print Settings**
- Print all parts in their original orientation.
- Torpedo parts: 0.2 mm layer height, 40% infill, no supports (rely on bridging)
- Torpedo - Ballast Holder: Print two of 
- Launcher - Housing: 0.2 mm layer height, 40% infill, supports (touching build plate and increase overhang angle to 80 degrees to avoid supports on outer threads, or use support blocker)
- Launcher - Nail Holder: 0.1 mm layer height (smoother action), 40% infill, supports
- Other launcher parts: 0.2 mm layer height, 40% infill, no supports 
Launcher - Spacers: Print if required to add preload to spring (two sizes to choose from)

**Hardware Required**
- 16 gram disposable CO2 cartridges 
- 1 x M3 x 20 mm machine screw
- 1 x M3 x 4 mm heatset insert
- 1 x 12.7 mm x 38.1 mm x 1.041 mm compression spring (or similar diameter and use spacers)
- 1 x 50 mm x 3.3 mm nail (concrete nails are good)
- Fishing sinkers for ballast (or anything else that you can stuff in the nose cone)

These are tiny storage trays that fit your printer's 20 mm and 40 mm extrusions. Use them to store your SD cards, nozzles or even tiny bits of paper for leveling your bed!

**Print Settings**
Nothing fancy here. Just regular 0.2 mm layer height and minimum 15% infill. Supports required for 20 mm model, no supports for 40 mm model.

**Hardware Required**
Nil. Just slide them onto your printer's aluminium extrusions.

Never lose your drill chuck key again with this handy Chuck Norris Approved hanger. Fasten it to your wall or pedestal with double sided tape or screw it on.  And if you really can't find your chuck key or you don't won one, I've included a design without the hooks so you can slap Chuck's approval on anything you like!

- 0.2 mm layer height
- supports for version with hooks 
- Change filament at layer 5 (1 mm height) for a multi colour print.

This is a dual camera mount to suit an off the shelf 3 axis pan and tilt kit, like this [one](https://core-electronics.com.au/fpv-nylon-pan-tilt-kit-without-servo.html). It's designed to suit Foxeer Micro FPV cams and the Insta360 One Go 2. The mount accepts a 7 mm x 2 mm neodymium magnet. This is a model to house a 3 axis pan and tilt kit to suit a 200 mm diameter acrylic dome. Mounts on the side hold 25 mm OD acrylic tubes that house LED strips for underwater lighting. The design features a double action mechanism for locking and unlocking the tongue in place as well as ejecting it. It’s 100% 3D printed with no other hardware required. **Model**
This is modelled on Collins Aerospace’s ACES 5, but it’s also very similar to the ACES II. Add this ejection seat handle to your workstation or battlestation for when you need to eject from the real or virtual world! Stick the sign up to warn those around you. The multi-part print features a display mount for your desk and a hardware mount for attaching it to your flight sim set-up. 
The handle is a press fit into the bracket. Some hardware is required to mount it to the display stand/hardware mount (see below).

**Print Settings**
Bracket - 0.2 mm layer height, supports
Handle – 0.2 mm layer height, no supports (I used adaptive layer height for a nice surface finish)
Display Stand – 0.2 mm layer height, supports
Hardware Mount - 0.2 mm layer height, supports
Pull to Eject – 0.2 mm layer height (multicolour print – change colour after end of layer 3)

This is a holder for your keys (or anything else that you might misplace) featuring a double action mechanism for locking and unlocking the key ring in place as well as ejecting it. It’s 100% 3D printed with only double-sided tape or two screws required to mount it to a wall. Featuring 3 different keyring styles and variants that hold from 1 to 4 key rings. Colour code your print or add your own name or logo to the keyring design. **Other Info**
I've added 'Type 2' sides that are thinner at the rear and allow the connectors to connect to each other. Unlike the original model, the Type 2 model does require supports though - take your pick between the two.
