Stormtrooper Helmet - HueForge Print
I experimented with the concentric top surface pattern this time (I wanted to give it the circular 'helmet' effect' and it came out great! This print only uses three filaments, black, white and gray, and only a little over 2 hours. The curves and the contours show up really well this print.
Note, I did use a high TD grey filament for this one. If you don't have a high TD filament, you can include a light grey between the grey and white if you like. I have provided instructions for both alternatives.
Both versions will use the same STL file. If you use the 3MF file, you will have to adjust the additional light gray filament (the 3MF is for the 3 colour variant).
Instructions for 3 colour variant: Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.2mm
Filaments Used:
- PLA Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.1
- PLA Chrominal Penumbra Gray Transmission Distance: 6.9
- PLA Kingroon White Transmission Distance: 5.8
Swap Instructions:
- Start with Black
- At layer #12 (0.64mm) swap to Penumbra Gray
- At layer #22 (1.04mm) swap to White for the rest.
Instructions for 4 colour variant Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.2mm
