Hi! I'm Cara.

Hello hello,

I'm Cara. As noted on my profile, I'm something of a jack of all trades. This Shen Comix post sums up my approach to my various creative avenues pretty well.

I'm:

A graphic designer

• I've worked on a variety of games for Rooster Teeth
• I created achievements and icons for the very awesome Kill It With Fire series of video games
• I've designed poker decks and card games for Albino Dragon, with IPs such as Supernatural, Aliens, and Dice Throne.
• I make interactive entertainment interfaces for hotel TVs.

A mini painter

• I've won a Golden Sophie at ReaperCon 2023 (and I'm still pinching myself)
• Won the "Midknight Heroes Chibi Adult 2" Award at ReaperCon 2023
• I've painted for Reaper Miniatures, Moonlight Minis, and Vae Victis
• I've been described by a friend as the "least patient mini painter [they've] ever met in their life". I believe them.

An illustrator

• Specifically, I'm a cartoonist
• I (very occasionally) do freelance illustration commissions for board games and friends
• I drew the beard and mustache for Cyanide & Happiness' Tram Sam
• I'm starting to dabble in drawing again!

A (very) occasional sculptor

• I wanted to sculpt my D&D character, so I decided to teach myself how to do the thing.
• I don't do it much, but when I do, it's fun!
