spider v61 #hallowearable .stl - To move the spider you need a string, i used .3mm nylon fishing wire but any kind of small wire/string/rope will do.

Gently move the front legs and the arms from the parallelogram if they are stuck.

make a small loop in the rope, put it arount the leverarm from the front legs, go throught the hole in front of the spider over the first arm and through the hole in the 2' arm. Tie or glue the rop in place.

To move the spider take another string, make a loop, pull it over the knob on hte first leverarm, through the whole and ty it to the ring. - 3d model

Consists of the spider, bracelet, ring and pen. You will need some kind of string or rope to activate the spider.

Printing the spider in a dark woodinfilled pla makes it even more spectacular, printing the bracelett in a metal infilled pla looks more convincing compared to painting. For the hallowearables competition this would result in a penalty, so i show it printed in white ESun PLA+.

Print upright, enable tree support touching the buildplate. You will need good bridging, fan 100% will help

This was printed with a CR20 pro in white pla with .4 mm nozzle and .2 mm layerheight The tolerances are verry big, it will work even with less optimal settings.

The matching bracelet is called armbandv61. I made it big enough to fit over my wrist with jacket. If its to big, PLA becomes plastic around 40/45 degree, its easy to heat the wristband with a hairdryer and bend it in place, once cooled it will regain its stiffness.

best printed with the base plate for the spider vertical and support touching the buildplate.

You need to print the pen twice (pennetje), laying flat, i used a heated metal pin to bend it to avoid slipping out. You could also use some 1.75 mm fillament to act as a pen, or anything you have laying around.

the ring can also be bended to fit anyone with some heat. I Printed it with the seal upright without support but you could flip it to the side to make it stronger? Feel free to combine the spider with other activation mechanisms
