- Re-uploaded the tusk cooler, to avoid errors when loading it in a slicer.
Simple direct replacement part for a better part cooling effect. It is based on the tusk type of part cooling. Two small aluminium tubes are held by a plastic holder that forces all the air of the radial fan into the tubes. There are small holes along the tubes that blow the air down over the printed part.
You need two 30 mm long aluminium tubes of 3 mm diameter. Squeeze one end of each shut and drill holes at 5 mm intervals along the tubes.
The part is simply printed. You will need to use a drill to clean up the 3 mm holes for the tubes. This also allows you to use non-metric tubing if you have trouble getting 3 mm tubes.
Remove the original duct and simply bolt this one on. No need to remove the fan or anything else.
The STL models are checked and optimised. The parts that need a different orientation to print properly are rotated to the preferred printing position.
The Nimble ExtruderWith an installed weight of less than 27 grams on your carriage/effector the Zesty Nimble is smallest and lightest extruder you can buy, it has ample torque and can be mounted in multiple orientations.
The Nimble is available from Zesty Technology.
