CR-10 mount for Nimble Sidewinder V1.1

These parts can be used to mount a Nimble Sidewinder on a CR-10 type print head.

The Sidewinder mounts on the standard printhead, no need to change hot end or anything else. Simply unscrew the bowden connector, mount the block and use the screw to tighten it to the hot end. Then mount the Sidewinder. We wrote a manual for the installation. You can find it here

The parts are not designed to be printed with FDM, but you can give it a try. They can also be purchased from our Shapeways shop. This gives you SLS printed nylon parts that are really strong.

The STL models are checked and optimised. The parts that need a different orientation to print properly are rotated to the preferred printing position.

With an installed weight of less than 27 grams on your carriage/effector the Zesty Nimble is the smallest and lightest extruder you can buy, it has ample torque and can be mounted in multiple orientations.
