The ultimate tactical accessory for foam warfare! TPU required! Read instructions first!

My third-generation mag holder evolves my battle-tested Blitz and Warp Sayas, preserving their best aspects and tightening the rest. Compared to its predecessors, the Transwarp Saya boasts superior durability, capacity, compatibility, flexibility, ease of printing, and more. You can even swap Tabs without detaching the Saya, to accommodate new loadouts.

Printing notes:

  • The Transwarp Saya and MOLLE Sticcs MUST be printed in TPU. I recommend Polymaker high-flow TPU.
  • More perimeters = more rigid
  • Brims required for Saya and Tabs
  • No supports required on any part

Rigid filaments like PLA or PETG are too brittle and will not survive a battle. The Tab parts can be printed in any filament, flex or rigid, though I recommend ABS or ASA for UV resistance. Weave the MOLLE Sticc between the loops on your gear and the loops on the Saya, and use pliers or something to mash the snap closure closed.

You'll also need 1/8" elastic shock cord. A lanyard cinch/cord lock is strongly recommended, but you can just tie the cord instead. See images for how to thread the elastic, and note that each type of tab has holes in different positions. The cord doesn't need to be very tight - the Tabs do the work. These are affiliate links.

Tabs are available for original Talon, Katana/Dart Zone Pro, and Zinc mags. If you want to use slim Talons, angled Talons, Nerf Pro, or full-length N-Strike, you'll need to design a new tab (it's not too hard.) Because the dividers are a fixed width apart, this version of the Transwarp Saya can't be compatible with Ultra, Mega, Rival, or other rounds larger than .50-caliber.

Currently, the Transwarp Saya exclusively mounts to MOLLE/PALS webbing. I haven't designed a belt version yet.

Improvements include:

  • Sideways orientation lets you carry more mags
  • Exposed end lets you top up mags
  • Flexible design is lighter, tighter, and effectively indestructible
  • Tabs replace Grips to speed up reconfiguration and eliminate the most common breakage point
  • Easier to print and far less likely to curl
  • Easier to assemble without glue or awkward shock cord wangjangling
  • Reduced friction on sidewalls means high speed low drag
