Bonsai Pot Antique Mirror Style
This planter is ~8" diameter at it's widest. Varying from ~5.75"-~7" at it's top inner edges, and about 2" deep.
The print should be able to be scaled down if it's too big for your buildplate.
Sliced in Cura, printed on an Anycubic CobraMax with standard settings using Polymaker Marble White PLA. 15% lightning infill.
No supports. I would recommend ones around the base if you're worried. I had bed adhesion issues that impacted the quality of the print in photos, but it's unnoticeable to if you don't know what you're looking for. Cura recommended supports underneath the upper ridge, but it came out smooooth. In Cura I did slice it to have the very top layer ironed.
Legs and legholes are a tight squeeze, if your printer isnt dialed in consider scaling the legs down to 97-99%. Or using sandpaper or rubber mallet. I glued them in for extra hold.
Designed in Fusion 360 using solid modeling and the loft function. I spent waaay too long on this, when it could've been done quickly in Blender. Or maybe Fusion's Surface Modeling functions, but I'm still getting familiar with them. Now that I've seen it printed, I might make some modifications and re-release it down the road, or just take the knowledge with me into future projects :P Heavily inspired by this piece: https://www.bonsaivision.com/product-p/bvb47.htm and a similar vintage planter I own.
