Mario Themed Mushroom Planter

I have included 2 sets of files for this design so anyone can print it. The first set of files is for anyone that can only print 1 color at once so each part can be printed individually and has clearances for assembly. The second set of files is for people with multi-material setups. I have also included the file for a simple drip tray you can scale and print however you want.

  1. Assemble-After-Print Mushroom Planter Files

These files have built-in clearances to make post-print assembly easier and so everything sits more flush. This design has only been tested at the current size, so scaling up or down may negatively affect the clearances.

Dimensions (mm): 200 x 180 x 148

  1. Dual Color Mushroom Planter Files

These files have no clearance and are designed to be printed using either a dual extruder or multi-material setup. The included files are scaled small, but you should be able to scale up (or down) however you please.

Dimensions (mm): 120 x 108 x 89 (Can be scaled however)

Printers I Used: Ender 5 Pro and Qidi X-Pro Supports: None (unless you want to use them for the base, but not needed if you have decent bridging). Infill: 5%

  1. Assemble After Print Mushroom Planter
  • This is designed for each piece to be printed individually and assembled afterwards (I use Gorilla Glue). The pieces are designed to be printed in the same orientation that they import into your slicer, although you have some options for the Top White Parts. These parts can be printed as imported, or you can rotate them to print on the small-flat side. The major difference is going to be in how the layer lines look.
  1. Dual Color Mushroom Planter Files

-Depending on your multi-material setup, you have two options to print this design: If you have access to a 4 material splicer (Palette 2S or Prusa MMU), you can print all of the pieces at once. If you have a dual-color setup, I recommend printing the base and eyes (in white and black, or whatever 2 colors you choose) as one piece, then printing the top and top accent pieces as another piece. Then assemble the two major pieces. This is the method I've used on my Qidi X-Pro.
