She secured the cast off legs, one on each forearm and began to scrape them. The hollow resonance began to hum and pitch. The magic of her command caused the sound to ripple back and forth. The growing crescendo caused the faintest of cracks. The wet sticky noises of parting sacks of eggs. Slowly, but surely the creatures began to emerge.
Dark multi-legged silhouettes drooled down on freshly spun web as instinct guided them toward her. She took her staff then and called the rippling noise back inside it. The echoes of the forming exoskeletal resonance sank into the wood of the staff. It began to softly hum. The hum was something spiders resonated with intrinsically.
The largest among them, perhaps already lurking in the shadows when she first arrived presented itself to her. Taking coils of webbing and using the power granted her by Pan. She commanded the sticky strands to weave and knot. Soon both rein and saddle formed from crusted spider web.
She took her seat atop the largest spider. A queen of its kind. It seemed only fitting for the princess to ride her. She lifted her pulsing staff and again the hatchlings came.
Today we meet Eovahn, the female elf twin. Like her brother the events of Fates Entwined change her and her destiny in dramatic ways. As you play through the campaign she gains control over the Deepfang Hatchery, the mighty Spider Queens and their broods. Selecting one Queen as a mount so that she can lead their scuttling swarm into battle against the Fae Petal Courts and even her own brother!
