Bike light bracket bottom 27mm.STL
Description This is a replacement and redesign of the strap mechanism that holds my dad's bike light in place on his seat post. I'm not actually sure what brand of light it is, since it's not marked on the light itself anywhere.
The original strap failed because the retaining tab that the strap attaches to via one of the loops snapped off the base that the light mounts to.
If you have the same light, re-use the mounting bolt that came with the light to attach it to this bracket. You should be able to use M6 hardware, or #6 for Imperial, for securing the bracket around the post. I strongly recommend using nylock nuts to avoid it coming loose.
I recommend printing the brackets standing up like bridges, with supports enabled. This helps minimize visible marring once installed, and makes sure the sockets for the bolts and nuts are clean. Sand down the inside of the bracket that'll sit against the seat post if you're worried about scratching.
Two sizes are available so far, for a 27mm post and a 31mm post.
