Conventional pet food gadgets only divide the food within the tin can. In high cans it is a big problem then to get the first portion out of the can. The dispenser provided here enables it to divide the wished amount of food and take it out of the can afterwards.
Usage: Set the divider centric on top of the opened tin can and press it down until it sits on the foods surface. Then rotate it clockwise and a stripe of food will be cutted out and shifted upwards trough the gap. A whole revolution dispenses 100g of food. If you need 150g, for example, make one and a half revolutions. Now you can lift the divider together with the food and empty it into the feeding dish.
Try to hold the divider always at a constant height and do not apply downforce. Otherwise the remaining food underneath the divider will be squeezed and the blade will haul too much food. If you need more than 100g make one revolution at first at constant height. Then press the divider down like at start until it touches the food surface again. Now you can continue the rotation.
This model is just under development. I would be glad to get feed back and suggestions for its improvement.
