These cute little carpenter bees are ready to build their new home. They come in two versions, one with a hammer and saw on a tool belt and one without.
These carpenter bees also come with their hollowed-out log home
. The bees can be printed in place and do not need any support. Sizing has been tested from 100% to 50% and all links work.
If printing the bees smaller I suggest using a .10 layer height.
The hollowed-out stump does need support on the lid only. I decided to support the entire underside, but if your printer bridges well, you may only need to support the inside rim. I did save the lid file 1% larger than the actual stump so that the lid will fit on, depending on printer settings and filament, you may need to adjust the lid size.
