HikariZen Mizu Lamp

Japanese inspired lamp. 1 of 3 in this series. I'll upload 2 and 3 in the coming days. PRT 1 (frame) you will need a grid or snug supports for best result. The first image shows the frame painted, I also sanded the frame before painting. Print PRT2(Lamp Shade) in Vase Spiral Mode with a Brim.

For the socket I used a Socket Bulb Holder E27 Screw Edison fitting For the lamp. Hole is 41mm DIA.

Increase the wall loops for a stronger structure, and print at the highest quality settings to achieve the best results. Frame legs are 16mm thick, strong frame. If you get noticeable layer lines lower outer wall layer speed to 50-60.

If you're having trouble printing in vase mode, try using a 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzle. A larger nozzle improves layer bonding and overall print strength. Alternatively, you can download lampshade2 WALLS.gcode.3mf (see download), which includes my settings with vase mode turned off, 2 walls, no infill, and no top or bottom layers. Brim 15.

I use Bambu Studio. You can use Orca Slicer https://orcaslicer.net/

Personal use only. NON Commercial.
