The project files are organized into folders for easier printing and navigation. For that reason, stl file preview is turned off.
It's the new Deadpool's katanas from the new movie, and there is allot in the folder with this one, so let's dive in;
- Blades As we all know swords are a bit of a paint to print due to long and thin blades.
Here I have included 2 options. one the standard one - thicker blade with straightforward print and assembly pins and dovel cutout for structural strength, and the other one, similar to that but cut flat with mixed combining patterns so the rotation of the print as well the cutout for structural strength should make this one quite sturdy.
Full disclosure, due to the shape of the blade, printing tham flat might produce more artefacts than printing them straight up, but that's why I included both options so you can choose which one works better for you.
Blades also come fully combined as well pre sliced in 2 versions for easier printing.
- hilt(grips) I have added multiple grip options like
- 3d printable wrapped grip
- clean grip for adding the wreaps manually
- textured grip for adding the wraps manually -and experimental feature - its a smaller clean grip with wraps texture separated so you can try printing it in color/material
- Sheath
- comes pre-sliced and complete, this is self explanatory, you can use m3 screws and nuts to combine it all and there is a little slot for any sorts of straps you wish to use on your suit :)
- 3mf file Since there are so many options, the 3mf contains a "quick start print" version, once that I myself will print, but you can replace the grips, or blades, or add the experimental version from the stl folders as you see fit . The 3mf is just to give you an idea of orientation, support and well, to be used to start printing right away the default version if you choose to do so :)
I've done my best to include tons of details , so make sure to check all the photos of what's included :)
