The project files are organized into folders for easier printing and navigation. For that reason, stl file preview is turned off.

This is a fan art representation and a 3d printable stl files diy kit inspired by Darth Maul from SW universe. This is not an officially licenced product and has not relation to Lucasarts, Disney etc, it is a personal interpretation and a guide to help you build your own diy projects.

You can use lightsaber electronics to insert into this 3d printed project to make it a functional lightsaber.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The files are made with extra care to attention and 3d printability in mind, so its a fairly simple print and assembly. Check out the photos to see what's included. Links for electronics and parts are also included.

Its "functional" - it uses the same lightsaber electronics/blade used in the Ronin saber, lighhtnarsil, lighthammer and so on ... (electronics and hardware list included)

  1. I added multiple options to the build so now you can use it as a staff, as a single lightsaber ( i designed a "tail" for it in case you wish to use it as a single lightsaber) , and with the help of 5x10mm magnets in the middle you can also switch quickly between staff and single / dual handed lightsabers combo. I also added a "clean/non functional" pieces as well if you don't plan to use electronics.

  2. At first i wanted to use the buttons already in the design but that appeared to be quite undoable for my "simple" idea of a 3d print, so i have basically hidden the lightsaber buttons (on/off/charging) at the back of the "hilt/staff"

  3. The design is formed as if you are building "one side only" - meaning everything you print you have to do twice for both sides if you go with staff version.
