Carrera rear axle ball bearing modification

<p>I have been working on this on and off for awhile now and feel it is ready to publish. This not only allows you to have bearings on the rear axle but you can adjust the gear ratio as well. I wanted to be able to do this to adjust speed and fuel efficiency per car on my track. You will notice cutouts on the bearing holders, these will allow you to mount the axle assembly to a professor motor tire truer to true up the rims on the axle. Rims and spur gear are 3d printed and pressed onto the axle. This modification rotates the motor 90 degrees to allow adjustment for different gear sizes.</p> <p>The motor cradle and axle mounts are universal for the 1/24th scale cars I currently have. I believe they are the same for all 1/24th scale cars but am not 100% sure. The rims, axle and spacers are car dependent for sizes.</p> <p>The files included for the rims include both the actual rim size and a .2mm oversize on the center diameter to allow for truing the rim to the axle.<p/> <p>This mod will require you to trim some material from the frame where the motor will sit to make room for the lower motor screw and wire terminal.
