1/24 Carrera C7R slot car front axle bearing modification

This car has a couple thousand laps on it and the front axle bushings were worn out. I figured before I ordered a new carrera axle I would try to make a axle carrier that could use bearings instead of bushings. I had some 1/8" bearings and a 1/8" axle in the spare parts bin to work with. Let me know what you think. If you make this please post it! I would love to see it.
