I made this tool to help install magnets in the correct orientation, it is very frustrating when you accidently glue a magnet in backwards when it is supposed to attract to another.
Place a magnet on the bottom of the tool with the + side up. Press the magnet into the corresponding pocket, then place another magnet on the plus side and press it into the joining part. I found the tool useful when assembling my Nevermore v5 duo carbon filter.
Required hardware 1 6x3 neodymium magnet
Slicer settings MATERIAL-PLA Nozzle-0.4mm LAYER HEIGHT-0.2mm INFILL TYPE-Grid INFILL PERCENTAGE-25% WALL COUNT-2 TOP/BOTTOM LAYER-3
Add a pause after layer 19(3.80mm) to install the magnet, and optionally change the filament color. I recommend installing the magnet with the north polarity facing upward. If you have a compass you can find the polarity of a magnet.
