This was originally a wooden trivet. The designer made the diagram available for free so i copied it in to fusion 360 for printing. Original model can be gotten from Andrew Klein (aklein2303 on instagram) This will require glue. Print 8 of these. Assembly is straight forward following the layout in the pictures. Tolerance may seem loose but i wanted it printable by anyone. Lay it on its side and scaled in the Z .2mm or so if you want it tighter

This is a remix to put the super structure on the correct side for a carrier plus make the catapults look more correct.

Update 8-8-2020 - Someone on Reddit asked for this model to be launching benchies. So here it is. I could not make them smaller as they are then unprintable. As you can see, according to Prusaslicer this file is error free.

Update 3-8-2020 - Adjusted the alignment of the planes with the catapult grooves to look better. File has been run through netfab and is error free according to latest prusaslicer.

I made this for my yet to be born grandson. I thought the original was a bit too thick for my taste. Shaved about 8mm off of it. I also added grooves on the bottom on both sides to give a place to grip. I used the following PLA filaments:

Cross = Tianse Green
Hexagon = Tianse Purple
Triangle = Amazon Basics White
Square and Star = AMZ3D Red
Pentagon = Prusa Galaxy Black
Slice = Prusa Galaxy Silver
Circle and Oval = Maroon from Prusa but is not Prusament
Base = Amazon Basics Blue

Hilbert Curve top pattern. I did get a small amount of lift in bottom right corner unfortunately. But all in all turned out well.

I needed a charging dock for my iPhone 12 Pro and my Apple Watch. I just came from Samsung and I had a PG9201 wireless charger that I had been using and wanted to keep using it. It charges the phone just fine. This combo is kind of unique so I need to make my own solution for this problem. I took parts from 2 different designs and mashed them together in to a functional piece that works and cleans up my night stand. Thingiverse is having an issue (surprise) of not finding the other things when I try to choose remix so here is where i got the parts from:

I combined them in tinkercad. As you can see in the picture it makes a nice clean combination and both chargers fit nice and snugly.

This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3329696. I found the original to be quite good however I could not click in the articulating hardwood floor tool. The other tools have single size exterior shaft and the other tool has a ledge that doesn't allow it to go far enough in to lock. 

Major differences in this remix are:

1. Modified tool holder to allow all tools to lock in
2. Created a single tool mount
3. Created a double tool mount
4. Created a triple tool mount
4. Created these files by cutting up the original to allow you to make customize your own:
     1. Mount bar (full length)
     2. Mount bar (half length)
     3. Tool holder
     4. Reversed tool holder
5. All tool mounts above have been assembled so you do not need supports like in the original.

All cutting and assembling of parts was done, believe it or not, in PrusaSlicer 2.1

Dyson Big Ball Tool Mount

Remixed game. Made it bigger by default without having to scale it. Resized the pegs accordingly and gave them a taper on the bottom for easier insertion in to the holes. Gave the top a grid pattern linking the holes. This just adds a nice look to it and looks even better if you use multiple colors to define the pattern. The pegs are sized .2mm smaller then the holes in the board. All done in tinkercad. 

If you want to do a multi-color print, I did my transitions at 17.2mm and 18.2 mm. 



Cross Shape Peg Board Game

I saw this chain connector on a YouTube video and thought it would be a cool item to model and print out. I have included 3 different center pin sizes to accommodate different printer tolerances. Print them out at whatever settings you want for the strength you are looking for. It is kind of small (roughly 65mm x 40mm) It should scale pretty good. The center pin is friction held. I used the largest of the three pins in my print. It holds in tight but can still be removed and holds pressure on the parts to keep them securely locked together.

Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

*Update* Added a second version that has a pin you twist to lock it in to place.

I got a request for the design file as they wanted to alter it for a Galaxy Note 10+. I made this in Tinkercad so there is no design file to give. So I made this instead. It is sized for a Galaxy Note 10+ and should accommodate it with a case on. It has not been tested! I would suggest printing the test piece to make sure it will fit your phone with it's case before printing the entire thing.

I used the same thing from above for the phone charger as I did in my other thing. This was also raised by 10mm to accommodate the size difference between the Note and the iPhone 12 Pro.

Galaxy Note 10+ and Galaxy Watch Charging Station

After upgrading my printer to the Prusa Mini/+ stand mod I no longer had the ability to use my Wyze cam mount as it hooked in to the extrusion. This mount slides in to the decorative piece in the front left leg. I did this basically because I had that part already printed and didn't want to waste it. If you scale this up 3 or 4 percent it should work in that slot without that decorative piece. 

You will need supports on the end that slides in to the slot. I printed this at .3mm layer height for faster print. Plus I'm kind of digging that slightly thicker layer look. 

This was designed in tinkercad so there is no step file. Sorry. Maybe I will go back and try to remodel it there in a week or so.

Update 6-30-21
Added a modification to accept a GoPro mount. Modded file takes an m3 cap head screw that you either drill out with a 3mm drill or just let the screw tap the threads. GoPro mount has a hole for self tapping m3 screw.

Wyze Cam Mount for Mini Stand Mod

Simple ammo trays. 50 round or 25 round. All stack together. You can stack 1 or 2 25 round trays on top of the 50 round tray. They are a bit over sized for .40 so they may work for .45 as well. I do not have a .45 round to test it though. These are not what you are going to take to the range. These were designed to print fast and clean up a bunch of loose rounds I had in my safe. If you are looking for sturdier range trays, these are not it. If you want light duty trays that print quickly for not a lot of filament, these are your boys.

.40 S&W Ammo Tray

These are a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3227074 I altered it to fit an uncle mikes duty belt. I narrowed the loop and shortened it a touch. Fits the belt much more snugly.  The first one I did is the mid loop model. It sits just a touch too high for my taste after inserting the tourniquet. The second raises the belt loop to the top to make the holster sit a bit lower. Wanted to mount my GoPro on my bow for hunting. This fits the third hole down on the riser of a Hoyt Powermax. As you see in the pictures it screws together decently. The parts shown are the prototype parts in PLA. I would suggest using a high infill percent and extra perimeters for strength. Just in case you bump it or whatever while using it. I know the pictures show the base sticking off the shelf a bit but I figure that considering how crazy strong the adhesive is on the GoPro bases it should be fine. I didn't want to have the shelf stick out too far for fear it would weaken it too much. This is my first attempt at using a picture to make a model in Fusion 360. So go easy on me :) STL's are orientated how I think is strongest. Obviously you do it how you want. Open to suggestions on how to do it differently.

Hardware required:
2 M3 x 25 socket head bolts
2 M3 hex nuts
1 M3 x 18 socket head bolt (hole is self taping for this one)

Hoyt Powermax GoPro Riser Mount

I broke the cable for the drive handle on my snowblower. Using a piece of paracord with zip ties but isn't working too well. Designed this to clamp on to the metal handle frame. I Made it to use left over M3 nuts and screws. It is something I made for me to solve my problem. Figured someone else might like it too. 


Update: I have removed version 1 and uploaded version 2.  I slimmed it down so that no supports would be needed to print. It now only requires 2 M3 cap head screws that will self tap so no nuts needed. Suggest printing this in PETG. My version 1 I found broken today when I got the snowblower out of storage for the winter. It was printed in PLA.

MK3 Camera Mount with Tri-Pod Mount Threads

I made this to mount my Apple TV 4 HD on to the wall mount bracket my tv mounts to. It slides on to the rail and has a screw that goes through it to keep it from sliding back off. Files are orientated to print without supports. Included is a drawing with dimensions for the rail this will fit over. it is not a tight fit. There is a slight bit of slack built in to both the rail block and the holder for the Apple TV itself. Just print both and then glue together. Screw hole is sized for an M3 socket cap head screw and will self tap the threads. No nut needed.

Phone Wall Mount Ball Joint

This is a modified end for a wall mounted phone holder to hold a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in a Spigen Tough Armor case. I printed in PETG for extra strength but you do it how ever you want. It is a little big to help accommodate a thicker case so it isn't snug. I plan to line it with felt to take up that last little bit and make it softer inside. This the second design for the Note 10+. This one works with the Newer Galaxy Watch 3 charger which is very similar to an Apple watch puck and much different from the Galaxy Watch. Yeah it's all confusing I know. I have not tested the size of the hole for the watch puck but did model it based on the dimensions I was given. 

As with the other Note 10+ dock I used the PG9201 model listed above. The watch puck holder is mine. As always feedback welcomed and let me know if anything needs to be adjusted.

This is a Lithophane lamp I designed for a buddy's bar. He is a Renegade Pig. It takes a panel roughly 150mm x 115mm. Print the lamp and then measure the inside opening to get the exact size based on what your printer produces. The panel is supposed to be friction fit. I lined the inside of mine with aluminium foil to help reflect more light to the panel. (Not sure if it helped or not but I did it anyway.) I also color printed the picture used for the lithophane and glued it to the back of the panel.

To get the lamp to work I used the following parts and hot glued them inside. There is a recess for the LED:

I used a 27ohm resistor based on using the above parts from adafruit. 

Otherwise use a resistor of appropriate value (Use http://ledcalc.com with the parameters from your sourced LED, voltage source @ 5V). Make sure your circuit doesn't go over the max allowed USB current (recommended 100 mA, absolute max 500 mA).

Standard Micro USB cable and charger. Basically any Android phone charger.

Printed in Tianse Cerulean Blue PLA then primed and painted black. (didn't have black PLA on hand at the time I printed it)
