The Nightmare Before Christmas plucky animal sidekick ZERO, as an ornament to decorate the top of your Christmas tree!

FREE for the week! I'm only able to do this with the help of my Membership Supporters! Thank you Craftys!

I've toyed with ideas about what to make that would bring the Halloweeny Tim Burton flavor of Nightmare Before Christmas home to the holiday where it belongs. I have a dangly-beard Santa-Jack ornament I never worked the kinks out of last year, or a new statue idea showcasing the final act of the film. But when my daughter brought home a drawing she'd done that highlighted the happy undead dog energy of Zero, I realized that there is far too little Zero representation in the holiday decor, and he deserved a spot at the top of our tree and hopefully yours as well.

PRINTING

  • Use the default "Download All" button to get my original files where the parts can be printed separately.
  • When opening, opt NOT to have the model treated as a "single object with multiple parts" so that the parts can be optimally arranged on your printer utilizing different filaments.
  • I've included a modified body mesh that can be printed much faster with fewer supports upside down.
  • My tests printed easily using organic tree-style supports

ASSEMBLE

  • I've included registration notches to help lock the ears and nose in place, but they will require a bit of glue to be secure
  • The collar piece slides over the body at the neck to allow the head to be positioned to your liking
  • I'll be painting the inside of my model's head black to replicate the look from the film
  • Along with the hollow pumpkin nose, I've made a hole going up the inside of the model that can be used to run lights up to the nose

Share & Enjoy

  • Please ❤️ the model if you print it.
  • Share your print and paint jobs with me by posting makes here, or on My Social Links
