Hello, glad you made it here! I'm Marcel from Berlin. I'm an engineer, designer and 3D printing enthusiast. I started with 3D printing in 2018 while I was building electric longboards as a hobby. With the years I also got into furniture design and woodworking. In the last years I created mostly furniture and interior stuff for my own and friends. But now in 2024 it is time to get all designs to the public. I have around 40 designs ready (and many many more ideas in mind), which are going to be published on my social media channels throughout the next months (and hopefully years), so make sure you're subscribed to them. You can expect furniture, lamps, planters, wall art and other stuff. All designs can be reproduced by everyone as they use only 3D printing and/or standard materials from the hardware store. My vision is to empower everybody to make interior pieces bei their own even without special skills and tools.

The triangles mosaic is a hexagonal wall sculpture consisting of 96 3D printed folded pyramids. Playing with light and shadow the wall sculpture changes its appearance while walking by it. Its minimalistic modern design and the sheer size brings your interior design to a whole new level.

Size: 85cm x 74 cm x 3,5cm (can be scaled easily)

Weight: 1kg (~500g filament)

For producing your own I would recommend the following:

Choose a light color as base (light gray for example)
Color to your vision afterwards
Fold the triangles after heating the folding edge
Investing in precision throughout the process pays of at the end
Use transparent hotglue to secure the pyramids
Use ordinary cardboard as a base (I used 4mm)
Glue the pyramids on with hotglue (no double sided tape or so)
Poke two holes in the backside and insert a wire (copper for example) as wall fixing

I got inspired by Sebastian Welzel for this design. Definitely check him out. He produces art pieces by hand in very high quality and eye catching color combinations.
