FLEXI SANDWORM - CUSTOM LENGTH - SUPPORT FREE - EASY PRINT - EASY ASSEMBLY

This is a flexi sandworm that I made inspired by the upcoming release of Dune. It has moving jaws, Flexi body and rotating head and rear.

It rolls and flexes. Enjoy!

You can make this as long as you like. Simply print extra center sections and snap joints and snap them in place as you like.

SnapJointV2 is a bit shorter, so less flexi, but also looks better in my opinion.

No Supports, >15% infill, 3 outer walls, 0.15mm - 0.2mm resolution. You may want a brim for the snap joints.

You will need one mouth snap joint and 1 center snap joint per midsection.

Assembly: 1. add mouth snap joint to head. 2. add head to center section 3. add as many center sections as you want using center snap joints. 4. add tail to last center section

Pressing the pieces together takes a bit of strength. It can be achieved more easily by setting up the joint on a flat stable surface like a counter or floor and pressing straight down. Once in the joints are very secure. If you want to be able to take apart and put together more easily, you can scale the snap joints down by 1-2%.

If you want a super short sandworm you can attach the head to the tail using the mouth snap joint.
