Spill-Proof Spruce!

I wanted to design a log slice coaster for a long time, but could never think of anything to make it extra cool, until this idea! The bark unrolls to become a handle which is specially designed to make it impossible to spill your drink!

This design took over 50 iterations to get it working perfectly. The articulating hinges, and gravity lock mechanism were particularly tricky to get working, but its finally ready!

How does it work? Print in place hinges allow the bark to unroll. And a 90 degree hinge lets the handle rotate up and lock into place so you can carry your drinks!

Spill-Proof! This design is spill proof, thanks to physics! The center of the handle is directly over the center of the mug, much makes it spill-proof thanks to centrifugal force! The stretchy hair tie also protects your mug from bouncing!

Required components: Hair Tie: You can use any hair tie, but this is the one i used: Brown Hair Tie

Magnet: (Same as almost all other forgecore designs) 5 x 3 mm magnet You'll need 22 total if you want to fill all the holes

Filament I used: Dark Brown: OVV3D Black Walnut Wood PLA Light Wood Color: OVV3D White Oak Red Brown: OVV3D Yellow Teak Wood
