Axel Chakram Spinner XL - Kingdom Hearts

Introducing the Axel Chakram from Kingdom Hearts but as an extra large fidget spinner! It is print in place with minimal supports. I also included 3 variations of the center so you can build it how you prefer. I will warn you the cross handle is more accurate for cosplay purposes but it is not that comfortable to hold.

Update 2.0 11/5/2024 -This was a complete redo of the model to fix issues with the overall initial design. It's much easier to assemble and less gluing required.

You will need to print the following number of each part.

Handle x1 Key Joint x8 Kunai Top x8 Kunai Bottom x8 Outside Ring Part A x4 Outside Ring Part B x4

Print the outside rings on their side instead of standing up. You will have a much easier time printing them.

Build Instructions

  1. Glue x1 key joint into the kunai to bond the top and bottom together
  2. Glue x1 whole kunai into the outer ring part A and part B to make 1 section, repeat 4 times to make 4 sections of the outer ring (then let the glue set)
  3. Once you have 4 sections assembled, you will glue 2 sections together using x1 whole kunai to make two halves of the outer ring. (then let the glue set)
  4. Take one half of the outer ring and glue into the center handle (then let the glue set)
  5. Take the other half of the outer ring and attach to the rest of the outer ring that you glued to the handle and using the remaining x2 whole kunai. (then let the glue set)
  6. Once the glue is completely set you're all done and can spin to your heart's content, enjoy!
