[Medium Sized Model - 25mm Base]

[Presupported in 32mm & 75mm scale]

A brilliant mind and the creator behind many modern Leacianan war machines. Unfortunately his technological prowess made him a high value target for the Coalition during the end of the Liturium War, and he was ultimately killed during the assault on his flying fortress, Nereznion. He was taken by a void of infinite Breath, awoken in the Crucible as the High Elf patron, Brinilmin, pushed Netros and his kinsman Karydian as his champions.

Netros had a difficult childhood. Raised in the capital of Nirloom, Netros was part of the aristocracy that lived in the Upper Terrace that floated above the commoners on the ground level below. Netros was the son of a professor at the Teveri University, one of the most prestigious magical institutions in Leacianus. However, Netros never showed any ability to wield the Breath of Minera, seemingly cut off from the source of magic. Even most Leacianan commoners can wield the most basic of magics, but for a noble to be completely inert was seen as pathetic.

Netros became the shame of his house, and through his schooling life he was constantly berated and assaulted for his absence of magical power. Bullies would toss him around with spells that he had no way to counter, and every day he would leave school with bruises, cuts or burns. But though Netros was seemingly cut off from the Breath, it does not mean he didn’t find a way to wield it. It was when by chance he saw Liturium from a destroyed ship float up the magically infused Prendaël river. Magical essence bubbled and soared from the river as the nugget floated down, before they sunk back into the ground or into water far away from the Liturium. Netros quickly took the nugget, burying it nearby where he would return later. For weeks he worked on a contraption that could contain and harness that latent and raw Breath.

So he returned, weeks later with an invention to capture and use the breath: a wrist with a container to hold and store magical essence, and convert it into spells. It was unfortunate for those in his university who decided to accost him the day he had first used it, for in panic he tried to defend himself with it, completely engulfing the group of noble delinquents in arcane fire. Netros was tried and sentenced to death for murdering the sons of four nobles, but when the Triarchs heard of such an invention they instead opted to pardon Netros. Fascinated by his technology, they ordered him to create more so even commoners might be armed with magic should the time come. And Netros did so, and from there his inventions grew more devious and creative. His mind was that behind the Arcane Golems that now fight on the front lines of the Liturium War, as well as the Arcano Arachnids that service and repair them (as well as put up a strong fight themselves). Now his inventions have moved far beyond his simple gauntlet, though it still remains on his wrist, it has since been enhanced with vast power and The Breath surges throughout a suit of armour he has made to encompass his gauntlets. When Netros perished in the Siege of Nereznion, he was engulfed by an infinite void of Minera’s Breath, a cold oblivion where he was neither a listless spirit nor enjoying the halls of Syelden. Instead he awoke a year later, within a Crucible forged by the divine Tharameni, the god of Chaos Brinilmin as his patron, employing Netros and his kinsman Karydian as his champions and interlopers within the tournament.
