Snap Close Connector Remix 2

Remix of this model by Scrath Original model by electrosync

Assembly: For assembly instructions please refer to his video. The assembly is exactly the same as in the original except for the usage of nuts and you need to drill out the holes for the screws (or just push a screw through.)

Printing: Print 1 of each part except for the clamp where you will need 2. For the upper and lower shell, choose the one according to the layer height at which you will be printing (0.1 or 0.2mm.) No supports needed.

Parts:

• 3x M3x14 (hex) bolts. M3x12 should theoretically work too but in my case it didn't fit properly and caused problems with the snapping mechanism due to sqashing the two shell halves together slightly
• 3x M3 nuts
• 3x M3 washers
• 1 50mm paperclip

Changes:

• One of the cutouts for the nuts was off-center to the screw hole. Centered it.
• Added a thin layer to the screw holes to make it is possible to print without supports.
