It can printed in PLA plastic in 10 simple pieces; the fully assembled sword measures a length of approximately 40 inches. This model is keyed to fit a 3/8 inch wooden dowel down the center of the assembly to help hold the edges true while gluing, making the blade much more sturdy and it is possible to heft and swing the blade without worrying about it falling apart.
