Cam Valve - Gen3 - Three channel variant
For full build and design details, check out the article here.
The latest in my attempts at a homemade valve solution for hydroponics projects.
I had the Cam Retainer part printed from aluminum (and it came out awesome!), and I printed everything else with FDM. But I had the Cam for the 6 channel version printed SLA, and I think that's the way to go. Although I printed all of mine FDM, I also think the Motor Coupler is a good candidate for printing SLA.
I'd recommend printing the Valve Flexures from PETG or similar material. Definitely steer clear of any brittle materials like PLA for these.
For this build, you'll need one each of all parts except for the Bearing Retainer and Valve Flexures. For those you'll need 3 of each.
