Raised base of duct an additional 3mm from the Build plate to allow greater clearance if using Bulldog Clips to hold glass plate down. Clip nearest to home may still require pulling off a little to totally clear nozzle in home position.

Cooling duct for Balco TouchWanhao Duplicator i3 Cooling Duct:40mm a remix of BliNDF123 Wanhao Duplicator i3 Cooling Duct: 30mm and 40mm. The model was completely reworked in Sketchup. In this remix I have:

  1. Reconfigured mounting centres.
  2. Externalised M3 bolt fixings to allow easier fitting.
  3. Included M3 Bolt retention sockets to reduce the need for additional tools.
  4. Angled walls in the skirt aperture slot to allow for printing without the need for support. Please note support is still required in the main section of the duct and the Nut recesses. I have also included the gcode with a customised support structure (Print Temp:200Bed:70x160 after). The model will print vertically without support but with some deformation to the top and bottom edges of the skirt. I found it was easier to attached bolt through the flange and pull the nut into position. I have only yet printed in PLA+ but the duct ring is quite close to the extruder assembly so I will monitor to see if there is any distortion due to ambient temperature.
