I had a request for more gift card boxes and this is what I came up with:) For this design I moved the gift card slot to the back of the box holding the pixel tree and I designed two different lids: one with a tree cut-out and lights stringing across and the other with a red truck and tree shaped cut-out. Both designs reveal part of the pixel tree underneath 🌲 To save on filament waste and time, I cut out a window on the back of each lid.

3D Printing Instructions for Gift Card Box Lids: PLA works great Layer Height 0.2mm Infill 10-15% Supports needed

3D Printing Instructions for Pixel Tree Tray: PLA works great Layer Height 0.2mm Infill 10-15% No supports needed, print upright

3D Printing Instructions for Pixel Tree: PLA Basic recommended* Layer Height 0.2mm Infill 10-15% Supports needed under tab(trunk) at end of tree

NOTE: Basic PLA is the best for the Pixel Tree. I don’t recommend PLA Silk or PLA Matte filaments. This is detailed (on the inside) and the tolerances are small. I printed several of these in these three types of filaments and Basic PLA always printed the best and had smoother “movement” when done.

To assemble, slide the trunk over the peg at the bottom of the tree. (You can add some super glue if you'd like:)

I have included a 3mf file with the following print plate profiles: Print Plate #1 (Lid with tree cut-out & lights): three colors - red, yellow and light blue; supports added Print Plate #2 (Lid with truck and tree cut-out): four colors - light blue, red, brown and black: supports added Print Plate #3 (Pixel Tree Tray): one color, tan Print Plate #4 (Arrow for Pixel Tree Tray): one color, green Print Plate #5 (Pixel Tree Fidget): one color, green; supports added under trunk Print Plate #6 (trunk cap for pixel tree): one color, brown

Have fun printing! 😊 Erin
