Hey Folks!

This one was sort of a test and experimenting I did with several Ideas that turned into this cool looking popcorn box which is printed in 3 parts.

Please read the instructions for successful print!

  1. At 100% scale the white.stl part has some very thin areas at the bottom that may start to wiggle when the nozzle starts reaching the top - You can try adding custom supports on the sides with a close offset as you can see in the last image I added but eventually if your nizzle pushes them hard they may wiggle and end result will not be very smooth at the top.

  2. Stringing - Simply because there are so many bounces between the white stripes here you may have some stringing so watch out as well - nothing that a good heatgun can't solve

  3. The Popcorn cover has some floating areas on the popcorn itself but you can (And should) ignore them - final result is good! Except the edges of the lid itself - So setup your supports for "Touching Buildplate only" or place a support Blocker above the edges.

  4. You gotta use some glue on the edges once you slide one part into the other because it will not hold by itself.

  5. The tolerances is tight but not too tight, the inner box should slide inside and then push it in with some force.

  6. Scaling up - no problem. Scaling down - wiggling of thin areas will be more substantial.
